Getting high on Dream High! Its the reason why I have chosen to compromise blogging on my Hokkaido trip. Thats the problem of me not able to multi-task! In fact, this drama is the second korean drama I have fallen in love with at the moment, after Playful Kiss. Inspiring plot, nice casts and beautiful songs to get me hooked on PPS every night for the past weeks. Thanks to JH and Pi for introducing me to this drama. Although I am done with it, but consider me a freak with watching dramas, I might watch it the second time. But first, I will watch Secret Garden, since Pi has greatly recommended it and I trust her taste. Haha.

好久没写部落格了，而且还是用中文的。突然有股心血来潮，就一字一字打了下来。

真遗憾，日本又发生地震了！前几个星期前我还在感受日本北海到的迷人风景，本想和大家分享拍的照片，却觉得好像不是时候。虽然家人都很庆幸我能平安回来，也许在迟些时候，我被困在羽田机场也说不定。这样岂不是得谢天谢地吗？自然灾害还真是可怕，想来就来，一点警告也不施舍给。现在只求一切能够稳定下来，还在躲藏的日本人们能尽早回家和家人相聚。阿弥陀佛！

这一次的北海道之旅可说是多姿多彩的。还记得在出发前，大家都在问我是不是真的，我真的要在冬天去吗？不怕自己的身体不能承受那寒冷吗？爸妈和同事们也十分担心，再三嘱咐我衣服要带多一点，要穿厚一点，该带的药物统统都一概不漏的带去。嘴巴说没事放心，我会好好照顾自己，似乎说的有些牵强。其实自己心情是复杂的。一方面觉得这是生平第一次在异国冬天这季节出游，对我来说是非常新鲜美好的一件事。另一方面还真害怕自己哮喘病在那时经不起天气的转变，开始复发，让我原有的旅游兴致都得抛到九霄云外。但是有了大家的关心和祈祷后，我想这胆战心惊的心情是多余的。像是准备去打仗的我也许在别人眼里看起来夸张，但对我来说我是五脏俱全，百战败胜的。出发了！

北海道到处都是雪堆，走在雪地的马路上，大家的脚步都在放慢，小心翼翼的以免滑倒。一粒一粒的雪球不断地打在我厚厚的外套上，让我感受到真的是在下雪了！人行道不见什么人影，下雪对当地的日本人来说简直是正常不过，只有像我这种newbie才会为了这种芝麻绿豆的事感到兴奋。当然啦，在新加坡每天都是夏天，每天都和太阳做伴的国人总是在发牢骚，埋怨天气有多么的炎热让人烧焦。冬天的北海道像是来到了地球的另一端，让穿着厚厚冬装的我们在寒冷的季节里也能感受到这白色的美丽。

无人干扰的‘大倉山ジャンプ競技場’，不禁让人忍不住想在这整片雪地上我行我素。我好喜欢这里带给我的释放和解脱，这样的自由自在是城市里无法给予的。真想来个痛快的“打雪仗”！

来到了像是小人国的‘白い恋人パーク’ 仿佛回到了天真的童年，让人能够像小时候一样无忧无虑地尽情玩乐。只不过当铃声响起时，从梦中苏醒的你只能感叹这一切是短暂的，但也相信拥有的回忆是美好无价的。

第一天的北海道之旅已让人叹为观止。那么接下来的行程，是不是也一样让我们有所期待呢？

Two . Zero . One . One

While I am still thinking of the wishes to make in this coming rabbit year, I couldn't expect much especially when I have already visited the doctor twice in January. Down with serious flu out of a sudden, and have caught a bit of the asthma trigger. Breathing hard through the mouth is a torture for me when inhaling as much oxygen as I can seem like the only luxury at that moment in time. Surprised when the doctor told me that my last record was actually in 2008, albeit my impression that it shouldn't be so long since my last attack. Well, I am slowly recovering, hopefully able to enjoy the upcoming festive season that I am always looking forward to. I love the gatherings with my maternal relatives, its just two weeks time =]

2010 ended fast as usual. One significant happening for me would be of course, the switch of job. To a professional job in the eyes of many counterparts to one that I am more comfortable in and suitable of. And I am still doing alright, achieving some progress in the year ahead will definitely be what I am aiming for. In addition, I have completed my intemediate korean lessons, and will be signing up for advance course in a few months time. Not well spoken yet, but it does serves as a very good enrichment for me and I will keep moving on.

I have mapped two more new countries in 2010 on my travelling portfolio- Korea with my family and Hong Kong with Pi. While I am always planning for more trips and adventures, it suddenly dawned on me that I should do some financial savings starting from this year onwards. Even though I don't wish to admit, but have no choice but to agree that everything is on the rise and speaking of what our insurance agents always tell us, interest rates can't beat inflation. An ugly truth for me, especially when I am one who is always skeptical of what insurance can do for me and would prefer to choose the conservatism way. Very " aunty" mentality, I know but no choice, for I am a risk-averse person, particularly when this involves monetary issue and you are making a difficult decision of whether to continue venturing into this investment or not. Trying very hard not to think of " retirement plans" yet, for it will only make me more lethargic and stressful. Work hard, save smart and enjoy life well will be what I will continue to be.

No interesting or special resolution to declare this year. When everything is going to turn out bad for all rabbits in this year- relationships, health, career and wealth, I wouldn't wish for more if my two aging parents can live healthily and happily with no worries. Plus less naggings, hee hee. I know of course their worries come from both my brother and I, so for the sake of them, I will try my very best to fulfil the role of a 24-year old daughter.

5 Wonders of Hong Kong/Macau (14th-18th Nov 2010)

I have seen alot of my friends taking pics of the Little Venetian in Macau and I was always feeling envious of how beautiful it was. It really was when we made our way there, we spent almost an hour (or more) trying to find the best spot and adjsuting our camera for the right lighting. No wonder it marks the place of attraction not to be missed in Macau.

Did I mention before that I love visiting the architectures? Continuining from England and Paris' adventures, I love my picture here with the Ruins of St Paul's. Even though I didn't really go into studying the history, but just by looking at it alone, I find this ruined facade attractive and I am certainly satisfied even with just this for my visit to Macau.

While both Pi and I were trying to pen down the list of local delicacies of must-tries in HK, we realised we didn't have a lot of days for lunch-es and dinners taking into account our itineraries and timing. But well, it suddenly jumped on me that we could have a combi together. And so we went for Goose with fish Congee from the Fuk Kee along Playing Field road at Mong Kok. I remember we walked quite a distance to search for it. And well, it marks its name and never fail us. But not sure it really was goose or was it merely duck. It doesn't really matter, anyway. We had a taste of congee and so-called goose in HK already. =]

Next was the Wonton-Mee from Chee Kei recommended by Mimi. Have heard alot of comments regarding wonton-mee in HK. Some said it tastes different from SG with no char-siew. Some said it was full of lard. Sound disgusting. But we still wanted a try and so we left some stomach space for it after we returned from Macau. Not too bad with the prawn filling inside, but the mee tasted ordinary though. Might try different types of wonton-mee if I am back to Chee Kei the second time.

Lantau Island with the Giant Buddha! How could I skip this for Disneyland or Ocean Park! Even though there were 200 steps to go, the feeling of completing it was equivalent to that of the Sunrise Peak when I was in Jeju. S.A.T.I.S.F.I.E.D. Physically tired but mentally refresh =]

A short and simple get-away. Didn't shop a lot cause of the winter season. Lots of laser eyes shopping but we managed to cover most of what we wanted to see though. For the upcoming years ahead, I am not sure if I will be visiting HK again, might or might not depending. But definitely, this trip will be part of my life portfolio =]

Our biggest reward for my first trip to KL, even if it is just one day. Thanks Pi for the great accompany, you play a good tour guide! =]

Proud to declare, we have been to Petronas Twin Tower. And this is the only highlight I am going to share but definitely it will only be for this time round. There will be more for my next trip to KL, if there is another chance. Never ever going to take Tiger Air again for I am afraid there might just be more delays and distortions to our planned schedules. And then you will find yourself like a silly roaming around at Budget Terminal till your flight calls.

KOREA-DAY 8 (18TH JULY 2010)

Our last day!! As our flight back to Seoul was at 7am, we had to wake up very early in the morning at 5am! Breakfast was simple, but it was good. Jeju abalone porridge and sunny side up!

Reached Jeju International Airport and something caught my eyes! Haha, just a quick snapshot before I checked in and Pi, this is for you too. =]

And then we were back to Seoul for our final itinerary - The Ice Gallery. It wasn't as big as I have expected and I thought there will be more ice carvings for us to take pictures. Its a slight disappointment for us but we have fun though! Specially when JH and I found our Eiffel Tower and the falling Pisa!

And then we had the chance to carve our own mugs! From the day I started schooling, I am always lousy at art and indeed, it still continues. Don't know why my hands are always weaker than my legs, such skillful art work I will never manage to get it right even with my wonderful imagination.

Our last stop before heading to the airport was the local products shop. Seaweed, ginseng sweets, crackers and more, I don't know how they manage to add up to more than 100bucks. Our spending power in Korea was really powerful, I am surprised. We even bought one carton of Xin Ramen back, my favourite ever since Jas has given me one packet to try on. Too bad they come in a carton of 24 packets and we can't mix and match our own flavors. And so we have one additional baggage to check in. From 4 at the start to 7 on return!

A trip went ahead in advance before Dongsaeng leaves for NS. Though not in our initial plan to go in July, but still there are still lots to see and expect for Korea during Summer! And I am contented with the family trip this time. At least quarrels between Mum and Dad were kept to a minimum and I can feel that that they have enjoyed. And food too, at least my Mum knows how to appreciate their kimchi and have started to be fond of it.

Korea, I will return!

KOREA-DAY 7 (17TH JULY 2010)

The day I love and enjoy the most!

Despite the bad weather yesterday, lady luck is on our side today when our tour guide told us that we are able to take the submarine today. It was a bonus to all of us! Especially my mum, was exceptionally happy and looking forward!

On the ferry... It was so jerky that I felt the dizziness on me and I realized, I do have motion sickness afterall. Before that, I still insist that I will be well and so reject any motion sickness pills that were being offered me. Love the wind up there!

After an hour or so, I finally get to breathe some fresh air and my dizziness slowly subsides. Songan Sunrise Peaks up next. My favourite No 2. Finally some exercising to do! Haha, Dad and Mum gave up climbing halfway. Partly because of the time constraint given since they wanted to have more time to buy more Jeju Orange Chocolates! But I guess the main reason was they were just too tired!! Its still a lovely morning, JH and I were motivated to climb up to the peak no matter what. Since we were already there, how could we waste the chance!

And then it was time for lunch. Black pork BBQ! It tasted exceptionally yummy especially after our exercise and we all love it!

And so this was it in our stomach.

And we proceeded to the Song-Up Folk Village, just a few distance away from where we had our meal. We were told that it is very safe living here and there is no need for doors since many of the thatched houses are under a protection order and most importantly, there is no need to guard for thief!

Horse riding seems interesting but it was like a thrill to us! Not only are mankinds the competitive breed in this reality world, horses do too! And please don't underestimate small horses for they do run fast as well, your butt can't simply stay put for you will 'bounce' when they race with the rest. Fun! But perhaps I will need to have a second thought if I am given the chance to play cowboy again.

At the Lotte Jeju Windmill. Besides taking pictures, there isn't really much we could do there except to admire.

Teddy Bear Musuem, the place where I can return to my childhood times again! Not to say that I love Teddy Bears very much, but then looking at the different bears and camwhore with them can just hype you up. Thought of getting a bear back, but then in the end we found nothing we like. And perhaps its a good decision not to buy it back, no room for storage is one problem and also it will soon be dusty and need a bath! Definitely high maintenance cost for me. Haha.

Our last itinerary for the day. O'sulloc Green Tea Museum, my third favourite. Just love the aroma of the green tea that spreads across everywhere no matter which part of the museum you are at. And the big plantation just has the magic power to lure you to it, making you able to relax under the greenery, enjoy the breeze and breathe in the fresh air.

Our last dinner in Jeju (or in fact Korea) was the Hanjeongsik, a Korea traditional set. It looks sumptuous but I only like the Saba, the steaming egg tofu and the seaweed soup. But it does not affect my positive opinion on food and dishes in Korea till now.

Despite a tight schedule today, we managed to cover all the places. Compared to the past few days, I don't feel tired today. Even though morning was a little sickly, however it doesn't spoil my mood for the rest of the day. Instead I feel fruitful and satisfied with everything today! The nice weather, the delicious meals, the many eye-openers brought us to a good night sleep.

KOREA-DAY 6 (16TH JULY 2010)

A rainy day. Morning's itinerary was kinda boring. We were brought to a 冬虫夏草 shop followed by amethyst specialty shop (purple crystal shop). The former was somewhat similar to the Ginseng shop we went the previous day and since we had already bought stuffs from the Ginseng shop, none of us was interested in buying. (Buy some more and we will be dead!) The latter was less boring but not very fascinating though.

It was then we had to bid goodbye to the 16 friends from our tour group who had to return to Singapore since they reached Korea two days earlier than us, or some even extended their journey and had to go on separate ways. The remaining was the 10 of us and our tour guide and off we go to our next destination, JEJU!

It was still raining when we reached Gimpo Airport. Had our lunch at the airport. Lotteria, somewhat similar to KFC but more spicy! We are not allowed to have more sauce unless we pay 500won (~60cents!) more!

Reached Jeju after 45mins long flight! And first on the itinerary was the mysterious road. The driver turned off the engine and the coach was supposed to be moving up on its own on an upward slope. Haha, even though I saw more of a horizontal road than an upward slope. And our tour guide continued to show us how mysterious the road was by taking a bottle and explaining to us that it will move upwards instead of downwards like the norm. In addition, she even spilled water on the road and told us that the water spreads upwards on this upward slope (it should spread downwards in fact). Interesting but I think we can skip this for others.

In Taiwan 野柳, there is the queen's head. In Jeju, there is the dragon head rock. The weather was throwing tantrums and we were getting a bit frustated by the rain that stops and continues on and off. Luckily it was not a downpour and we were still able to take photos, but of course, we had to take them fast.

Dinner was early like around 4.30pm. Me and JH have always loved to eat seafood and we were looking forward to this meal especially but the higher our expectations, the greater the disappointments we got! It was just pleasant to the eyes and not pleasant to our mouth for there was almost as little meat as you could find and the only plus point for this meal was the one packet of ramen that accompanied along to fill your stomach! Like the Bak Kut Teh, these two were totally chui. Other than that, I have no complain for the food. Lol.

And we returned to the hotel early. Nothing much for today's itinerary but we needed a good rest badly.

Sleeping early is definitely not our usual habit. Of course the night was still young for us to take a walk down Tapdong street and do some shopping! Tomorrow will be a better day, with NO RAIN! Teddy bear museum, horse-riding and more!

KOREA-DAY 5 (15TH JULY 2010)

No more breakfast in the hotel. Not fantastic anymore. Still miss the hotel's scrambled eggs with lots of pepper and of course my favourite bread with butter. But still worth the early wake in the morning, if it is a place for lots of camwhoring.

Around the proximity where we had our breakfast and also the place where I fell down clumsily and injured my knee. What a morning.

After breakfast, we were brought to a place for fashion-DIY session. No photos to be shared as they were all too unglam. lol. This was also when I have spent wons on the facial products, be it the ginseng masks, sun block pact, eye cream, sleeping packs, peeling gel, silky essence or even BB creams. I have them all! Some were omma's and some were bought on behalf for Pi, but the bulk of it were for myself! I also don't know why I have bought so much to the extent of them giving me one free luggage to stock them all. Not that I have used them before I went Korea. And not that I need them too ya, I have always been proud of my own skin complexion and condition!

Lunch was Bak Kut Teh. But then it was only a moment of happiness for it was all kut (bones) and no Bak (meat) No wonder its only Singapore that is well known for Bak Kut Teh and Korea for Kimchi.

And then it was shopping time again. Myeong-dong! We were given around 3hrs, twice the duration as when we were in Dongdaemun, since Myeong-dong is so much bigger. I am sure one will get lost, in terms of direction and time! But luckily I managed to get what Pi has favored me to get for her, cause there are Tony Molys everywhere in Myeong-dong and so glad I got myself the poster of our guy Kim Hyun Joong too! And I found Basic House! Haha, with the help of the salesgirl from Tony Moly. Too bad I didn't get anything suitable so just take a picture for memorandum. Will try again when I return to Seoul next year!

Full stomach, just nice for the night performance afterward!

Highlight of the night. Lets JUMP! Even though it was late and we were all aching and tiring from all the shopping, we have enjoyed it. Would recommend all families to watch. All the casts were interesting and hilarious, and especially when us girls found our favourite guy. So shy, but still must be thick skin a bit to ask him for a photo, if not we sure will regret! And now, I am missing him a little already. Haha!

KOREA-DAY 4 (14TH JULY 2010)

Nami island, one of my favourite places.
Not only it is a place for camwhore-ing, it is also one paradise that will cheer you up just naturally when you are there. Just love to stroll in the midst of trees greeting you good morning, and how the whole place allows you to take a good break off your busy and lethargic mind.

Dongdaemun, our first shopping! There are three tall towers that a shopaholic will definitely spend more than one day conquering them all. But we were only given one and a half hour! How saddening. And so after our group splitted, we chose the second tower Migliore and it certainly has what it takes to be. I thought the short time span will be just window shopping for me but surprisingly, I managed to get a skirt which I fell in love with at one sight at less than 30bucks communicating with the korean sales girl in broken Korean! A sense of satisfaction since it is not very common that I will fancy something in such a short time, usually it would take me more than few hours to set my laser eyes on something I like. My mum too, managed to get a hat which she wanted to get even before we left for Korea. On the other side, my brother and my dad roamed the "men"'s levels, with my brother getting two tops (or more). What a rewarding one and a half hour for all of us (except my Dad, haha!)!

Lotte world next on the list. It was 5 plus and definitely this was arranged late in the itinerary since we had gone to Everland in the day. Frankly speaking, I don't really like theme parks since I know I won't be challenging those over-exciting and thrilling rides as it will definitely be a nightmare for me ever. Plus what can you play when you are with your parents. Not all rides they are able to take it, like the viking ship and the roller coaster. And what troubles you is that you have to make sure that you utilised the BIG 3 pass that you have got in your hand so that it wouldn't be a waste for all of us and with the limitations, surely I had a hard time. Cause JH had wonderfully abandoned me and my parents for his friends in the group to take on those heart-attacking rides. It was not easy for us to locate the rides on the map, and I can't remember how many KOREANS I have asked to direct me to the flume ride that my mum and I wanted to take. With a little bit of hangul and my body language, haha. I should be able to survive in Korea? Can I? LOL. Too bad, my Dad has reached the age limit for the ride and thus had to find other alternative.

What I have missed. It was about two years plus I have not ice-skated ever since JE entertainment centre closes. How nice it will be if I am part of them then, ice-skating in Korea!
If only I had the whole time of my own....

Finally back to hotel. A-T-A-S hotel with a big casino at the lobby. Went in to have a look for the first time, minus away those I have seen on the tv. Nothing interesting, with all the cigarettes and the bets that I will never figure out, I chose to wait for them outside...

A very posh and cozy room with a wine corner and most importantly, two comfortable beds for us to sleep soundly and sweetly.

KOREA-DAY 3 (13TH JULY 2010)
After breakfast at the hotel, JH and I roamed around the resort to take some pics before we headed on to our next destination- The Dragon Peak by cable car. The cable car seems to be the longest I have ever taken, it took us 20mins to reach the peak. Like the night before, the morning air at the peak was equally refreshing. Of course, it was camwhore time!

Lunch was mushroom steamboat! Just love it! 진짜 맛있었요!

We then returned to our hotel - Hanwah 100% Hotspring Resort to prepare for our next activity of S.P.A.

Our hotel room with kitchen facilities. Great since the first thing I will always do when I step into a hotel room is to check if they have the boiler for us to cook water （煮水） so as to satisfy my huge appetite for water consumption.

Water game time! Those ahjumma are like those obasan in Japan, 赤裸裸的 walk here walk there. Omg, even my Omma don't dare to be as open as them, lol. Even though I have experienced some sort of "water therapy" there, their effect was still not as good as the one I have experienced at TaiWan 阳明山， and of course the 温泉 at 阳明山 is more 多元化.

As usual, I was always looking forward to lunch and dinner! And everytime the food never fails to disappoint me and especially with their Ssangchu 상추 and Ssamjang 쌈장, their meat tastes awesomely good and succulent!

For the night, JH and I joined the rest of the youngsters from our group where all of us gathered at the couple's room to play the game of P.O.LA.R B.E.A.R. It was a nice time sabo-ing, joking and great bonding session. And the laughter last till 12am....

I know I always tend to procrastinate. But then, there should always be a start...

KOREA - DAY 1 & 2 (11-12TH JULY 2010)
We were all so tired the first day as we did not have a chance to get our rest since we landed at Incheon Airport and our itinerary began then...

Welcome to Incheon Airport!

Warming up session - The first stop: Fruits and seafood wholesale market.

At the Kimchi School: Even when we were outside of our home sweet home, Mum is still good when it comes to her fortay! To me, our Omma still makes the best kimchi! And their kimchi is really good. We spent 55000won(~SGD65) for 6 packets, even kimchi squid and cuttlefish! Should have bought more!

My virgin try on the hanbok, not too bad! Lol.

Reached Everland. At that time, we were so hungry that we just weren't excited for anything except just to sit down and have our first meal. But too bad, our first self-expense lunch wasn't that nice and I remembered I had a bowl of udon that I didn't manage to finish. So much for the starvation after the six plus long hours of flight. Well, good thing the weather was optimum! Didn't spot any characters on the land, not so lucky this time round as compared to Disneysea back then in Tokyo but still, we felt heart warmth by their performance!

After the tour around the Safari World, the tour group splitted and then we went on to take the water spinning ride suggested by JH. It was fun but in the end, it was me who ended up the most wet! Guess its the seat that I took, just too suay. Next, JH proceed to conquer the T-Express, the greatest challenge at Everland with the steepest slope ever. But he survived! I will never have half of his courage.

We had our dinner late at around 8.45pm! Famished! But it was good! Especially the meat and the kimchi cucumber. Guess this was the after effect of a bad lunch and the end of a tiring day. Just love the temperature outside! Cooling and fresh air!

And at last, our first day ended at Dragon Valley Hotel at Yongpyong Resort, Winter Sonata's filming site. It was 18 degree celcius. Just nice for a good night sleep. =]

Never did I know that carrying out the role of a CFA Proctor can be so tiring and boring.
Until the virgin experience yesterday.
Frankly speaking, if not for the remuneration that I will be able to get, I believe I would not have taken up this offer by RELC.
Having to reach Expo by 6.45am, for the first time in my life, I woke up at 4.30am hoping to catch the first bus at 5.45am. However, it was not within my consideration that the earliest bus to Bugis on a Sunday is actually 6.11am. I began to pin my hope on the earliest bus at 5.48am to town but then it was not at all within my sight even at 5.55am. Just as I was getting fed up by the screwed up info on the notice board for bus timing schedule, bus 960 came to my rescue!
And I was saved of committing an impulsive act to hail a cab after feeling desperate at that critical moment in time.
And surprisingly, although I was still late, I managed to reach Expo before 7am. Less than one hour from my house to Expo, when a normal journey from West to East is at least 1.5hr during rush hours.

Got a chance to be a ticket checker, and all we need to do is to check if their ticket is clean and neat with no writing and highlighting on it and if they have any prohibited items in possessions before they are granted entrance into the testing hall. And while every examination naturally forbids every candidate to bring in prohibited items such as mobile phones and bags into the exam hall, I can say that CFA exam is the strictest exam I get to know of. You are not allowed to bring in any plastic folder, no pencil case, no highlighter, no lead casing & not even the little cover for your eraser. What is this!!! Maybe cheating cases are getting more innovative that even rubber band has become one of the cheating tools that I heard of candidates using. And during the check, I witnessed many classic examples. One of them was a candidate actually returned halfway even though his ticket has been checked by us telling us that he did not want to get into the hall so early just so that he would not need to listen to the boring announcement. Ha, what a joke for the day. And oh ya, I bumped into LinXi! What a coincidence, so he was a candidate too, well, good luck to him!
And after the role of a ticket checker, was assigned a section procter (simply call it an invigilator). Although it is deemed to be a simple task, but you can never imagine how mundane it was if you were to keep walking round row by row for 3 hrs just to check for any suspicious behaviour of candidates. Only when they raised their hands to get permission from us to go to the washroom that you had 'something' to 'act busy' about, otherwise, the rest of the time was just plain staring at candidate's IC for interesting names, passports and question papers. Unless you caught somebody cheating, then this will be a different story. And interestingly, I witnessed one classic example again. Just 10mins before the end of the exam, one candidate was busy shading the answer B for most, if not all of the questions. Not sure if he was stressed, but he looked nonchalant to me. Perhaps the paper was just too hard that he couldn't be bothered anymore. Couldn't help but to picture myself in his shoes since I already had 15 years of experience as an candidate. @_@

So much for the 11hrs of 'invigilating'. It was not so 'easy-earned money' job after all.

But then not too bad, at least there were consolations like the nasi-lemak lunch and curry puff for tea break. Haha. Taste good =]

Deposit paid.
After waiting for so long, finally everything is settled!
Time is running out when we got to know that JH's enlistment is on 13th Sept.
So sad that its two months earlier than what we have expected
(Who told him to fail his NAPHA!)
But still, whatever the weather, whatever the season,
we just wanted to make our plans come true.
At least, its my wish to make it come true.
A trip together before JH goes for his NS!
Suddenly feel a bit emo after reading his letter today.
No doubt NS can train him to be a better MAN, but then still feel a bit concerned and worried for him just by thinking about the ordeal that he will have to go through.
Well, its just one plus more month away towards our destination!
I know time passes so fast that before we even realised, we will already be busy packing our luggages.
And I am already into the mood. =]

Its JH's turn! Congratulations!
Finally the end of his 3 years of Poly studies and the beginning of a new phase of life!
We are happy for him that he has completed another stage of his life marked on 19th May 2010.
Thankful for the chance to be able to share this joyous occasion with him, to witness his very honour on the stage. And as his sister, I feel very proud of him.

I was almost as tired as him! Running around helping him to take photos- perspiration, clumsiness, busy, everything exactly the same as when I had my convocation one year ago.
The feeling of wanting to take as many pictures with many different friends as possible to capture the last moment at NYP.

I believe we will never forget the wonderful memories that all of us have created for ourselves during this period of time.
Cheers to all the friendships that both of us has forged in the significant 3 years!

And to JH, well done! All the best for your future endeavors!

I visited the dentist the first time yesterday ever since I have graduated from JC!
When I was still a student, I made the effort to visit the dentist twice every year and especially when I could enjoy the student privilege of not paying any single cent at all, under the HPB. And till yesterday, I have not made my way for any dental treatment at all.

There was no intention for me to visit the dentist initially until my colleagues told me that I should go for braces. My mum has been bugging me to have my teeth straightened when I am still a student but somehow I have chosen to ignore it, not sure what's the reason but perhaps because at that time, it did not come to me as a need. Or perhaps I am just not aware of the consequences and discomfort that uneven teeth can cause in future.

And then it just so happened that my colleagues once again brought up this topic that I would look much better if I go for braces that I decided its time to go for a dental checkup to ask for a second opinion. And its partially because 50% of the dental fee will be reimbursed by the company. LOL. So yes, I went for the appointment yesterday. Not for braces, but merely for cleaning purpose.

And sad to say, the GP told me that I need to remove two of my teeth in order to make way for braces. Well, definitely not what I will want to. I will love to have all my teeth intact! Perhaps its because of the shape of my teeth that I always appear to have a sharp chin in every photograph that I have taken. Ha, but then seriously, do I really need to go to such extent of removing my two lovely teeth in order to make myself more confident? Its sad to hear this but then its definitely worth considering even though I believe that the likelihood of me going for braces is very very low. Maybe I could mitigate the whatever consequences of uneven teeth just by visiting the dental every twice a year to make my teeth healthier and cleaner, starting from yesterday? At least better than doing nothing at all, right?
Haha, 自己骗自己！

And I was shocked that from just 20mins of scaling and polishing, I was charged 72bucks.
极好赚一下!!! Its even more expensive than seeing a doctor!
And there wasnt't any blood at all from the 20mins, the first time from so many dental treatment that I have been to, not sure if this is good or bad. Or maybe I should consult a more skilled specialist the next time to be sure of a more thorough checkup?

Well, nevertheless, its a new and great experience on a Saturday morning.

And to all readers, time to make dental visit every twice a year a habit!

There is only one reason to explain why one has stopped blogging for the past one month, if you understand that she has been working from 8.30am till late every monday to friday and there is simply nothing interesting to share about except for her work. Perhaps working life is just plain boring and she will be glad just to be able to laze around on weekends and not do anything.
But then sometimes, there is no excuse why she would want to neglect her social life and especially when she does not want to give anyone the impression that she is married to her job. There are occasions when she will reserve her energy to go shopping, to learn some language and to spend some time catching up with her different group of friends, so that there is still some spice in her life.

The mini lunch together for TCH' 23rd birthday at Wheelock's NYDC with SE and our first two friends made when we entered Deloitte the first day. And so glad that we are not just hi-bye friends to begin with. Its the first blessing for me when I entered my first full time job five months ago, especially in the beginning when there are still uncertainties and unfamiliarity and they are whom you can find for lunch most of the time, with no PR-ing.

It was only the second time that I have met up with Sara and clique since we have left Robinson four years (or maybe five?) ago. And its a blessing that we can be colleagues four years ago and friends four years later and have not forgotten about one another. Do hope that even for another four years or eight years down the road, there are still such opportunities to meet up again. Even though I am one of the the eldest among them, no doubt it is still good to mix with someone younger than you if they can make you seem younger and energetic too =]

Haha, finally its our turn! With our usual group photo. Our last outing was my 22nd birthday celeb! And it was four months ago. We are not so busy right, aren't we? Lol. Thanks Cheng and Jan for organising this dinner despite the fact that all your exams are around the corner! And the dinner was fantastic, with also the many gossips that you girls have shared with me. Thats the most important thing, right? =p Haha, especially when we are talking about matter that concerns our lifelong happiness.
Happy 23rd Birthday to our dear TM too! Congratualations that you are one step closer to becoming a REAL man.
And till all of your have finished exams and Tang balloon has returned, I will be anticipating for the next outing.

JH will be back from Japan in two days time! Can't wait to see the photos that he has taken and what he has got to say about that place! Suddenly I miss Japan! I miss Shibuya, I miss Hakone, I miss the Ramen and the kawaii Japanese guy at Nagoya station! JH is always so lucky! Always get selected to go overseas, be it BeiJing or Japan, but then it means that my parents will once again burn a big hole in their pockets. And it makes the travel bug inside me hits me once again.Very soon but not sure when, I believe I will be flying again! Looking forward!

Finished my basic Korean two weeks ago! Will take up the intermediate soon. Will not let that stupid Tang Balloon laugh at me. At least now I know how to read the characters, just need to know more vocabs, conversations and how to pronounce properly and I will be able to survive in Korea.
That time Paris was a little incident, Mr Tang. Its all your fault, made me so stressed. At least I managed to help u order food hor, Ne-veux-pas-de-tomato guy!

Work has been alright so far, done and touched on a couple of new things.
Manageable though sometimes tend to overlook certain things, will take it as a new learning experience. At least for every OT that I have worked, I know the reason behind and understand what I am doing. And not like the previous job, I am just blindly doing what I am supposed to do and working OT for the sake of doing it. Great.

Well, didn't realise its so late now, time to go to bed!

It has been a week!
With Snoopy's leaving, there are really many things to be handed over and by replacing her, it means that my responsibilities will be much greater from next week onwards. From a temp who does adhoc cum miscellaneous duties to a full time exec who will be dealing with own staffs and many different creditors, its a challenge to begin with, where you need to be firm and know how to tackle their demanding requests and also understand what is within and beyond our duties to fulfill certain things.
With such a huge transition, I believe it will be a fresh start for me and an opportunity for me to make mistakes and learn as much as I can and plus the duty of coming out with financial reports, its really a real hands-on experience on what an accountant actually does.
No doubt feeling worried and stressful by the great responsibilities I am facing now, I decided to take it easy and stay optimistic and to portray my level of competence, although sometimes overlook, disorganization and forgetfulness tend to be the reasons why I receive reprimands from the manager. I will improve.

Well, no matter how much we hate for this day to arrive, we still have to accept it. So with an open heart and expressing our warmest gratitude, we bade Snoopy farewell. Thanks for the patience and guidance. You will be missed.

And then a heart warming Saturday night to end with! Have met up with Wei Zhen and clique for dinner and get-together. I have no idea that the meet up was specially organized for me until the time to foot the bill comes and Sandy told me not to bother about it. Thanks for the treat, really, I didn't expect it but it simply touches me to know that actually, you are still being cared for and remembered. Thanks for the effort and sincerity for I have mentioned previously that you friends are the biggest rewards from the two months in DT. Will be looking forward to more outings! A big hug.

两个月的摸索与尝试
两个月的矛盾与挣扎
都在今天结束了。
没有后悔当初一开始的选择，
因为来到了这里，
才开始渐渐了解所谓auditor的工作和责任
必须自己去明白，去思考，去找出答案
必须向人指点，向人请教
其实它确实是个很有价值很有挑战性的一份职业。
如果你够坚持，你就能把每一天碰到的难题当作是一个新的学习机会
那你每一天都在增强知识，提升自己
这又何乐而不为呢？
只可惜，它并不适合我。
在这份职业里，我有太多的不确定，我有太多的担忧
也许是我毅力不够吧，对自己也没什么信心
谁不知道天下无人知，凡事难预料，
这我当然知道，可我就是不想再浪费时间，
害怕到头来换来的是更多的怨言
或许能知道自己的缺点也是一种优点吧
就当一切都已注定吧。

不过，值得让我庆幸的是那一群新朋友
能认识他们就是我在这里最大的收获
谢谢他们在这两个月的陪伴
这毕竟是种难得的缘分，
我相信，我们一定会继续保持联络的。
也谢谢一直在我身旁给我鼓励的朋友们

Happy New Year!!

Haha, I always love Chinese New Year, for no particular reason. Perhaps its a time when everything starts afresh, when everyone sets new targets and looks forward to a more successful year ahead! And that also means I have to start clearing all the unwanted stuffs in my little room. But it always seems to me that there is not much changes even after the massive 大扫除 since I have so many things that I can't bare to throw them away (my books especially!! ) And one of them will be the many letters that I have kept many years till now. 10 years I supposed?

Remember the days when we became pen pals and started exchanging letters, the naivety and stupidity that we shared, it actually forms a wonderful teenage experience for me! And taking some moments to glance through them and even read them again, it actually makes me smile. How could we ever have written such things! The old days! Though this year, I have decided to abandon them, but the memories will always be there with me! I wondered if my pen pals are still keeping those letters nicely intact! I will be so touched if they still do! But even if they don't, nothing else changes and we are still friends in the past, present and the future years ahead! That's the most important thing! =]

And to add on to my new year's resolutions, I am very determined to cut down on my diet starting from the time I am pen-ing this down for I have trouble putting on a size 28 jeans right now and this is just terribly wrong! But how could I ever resist the many yummy goodies during such a festive and joyous period! Well, I will just have to persevere, otherwise I will soon turn into size 30 soon if I don't stop. This is really a nightmare to me!

Before I proceed on to my dreamland, would like to take the opportunity to wish all my blog readers, friends and family a blessful tiger year ahead! HUAT arh!

Another drama down! Call me "Drama Queen"! Lol, like real.
Being a fan of Rainie and while wating patiently for Autumn Concerto's next episode, I got hooked the second time. Lol, a new and fresh look from Show Luo with his mushroom head, I still find him better with his current hairstyle. But then, although not as fantastic and magnificent as compared to Autumn Concerto, still 'Hi My Sweetheart’ （Haha, don't know why, just find this title so wrong) managed to touch me with its storyline. And once a supporter of Rainie, always a supporter. She never fails to disappoint me with her awesome acting skills. Have no idea initially that there are only 14 episodes in total, and I finished in less than two weeks? Although some parts are too lame and too fake, but still, there are always some scenes that make you teared, at least they worked on me. Just short and sweet, and if you want to relax a little, be hooked up like me =]

Something beyond work and within my comfort zone:
Strongly recommend 'Autumn's Concerto', a drama that hooked me up these two weeks.
And considering the stress and many headaches I have suffered this period of time, this drama just serve as the best stress-reliever and medicine!
Have not watched such a nice Taiwanese drama for a very long time. =]
Not only the male and female leads, but its also the plot and script that make me fell in love with it! Has actually gone to a stage of becoming obessed in it!
Considering myself not the type who will blog about the show I normally watched, this is really rare! And it just prove how much I have enjoyed it and wanted to share!
Its really worth it to spend some time indulging yourself in it.
Looking forward to upcoming episodes!

And I don't know what happened to me, but I just got myself a new aim!
I wanna get myself a shelf of chinese pictorial travel guides!
And I decided to have one every year! Starting from 2010!
Every country! And this is something I know it could keep me travellling every year, taking into account the commitment I have to put in for my work and this just mean that I have less time for my dream!

Can't believe I have actually arrived at the despo state of coming down here to make myself feel alive once again while still at the client's place.
While my collegues are still frantically and furiously rushing to meet deadlines, I am here at blogger.com.
For the past few hours, I have been dead.
My brain just stop functioning and I just couldn't move on.
It was as though my soul has vanished through the thin air, and I am here grasping for breath.
Having to wait for colleagues to say 'Let's Go Home'and having to force yourself to stay on while in actual fact, you just cannot seem to regain your concentration, the feeling sucks, really.
I know I am terrible, for whatever you think,
You can mock at me for being weak, you can laugh at me for being useless, for being selfish and you can scold me for the lack of responsibility.
To what I am doing now, I truly surrender.
I couldn't find the satisfaction I used to have, not to say the urgency that I am supposed to be having at this moment in time.
The anxiety of escapism deepens whenever I wanted to give myself the chance to try it out, to push myself even further.
However, this just couldn't seem to work out for me and for once, I feel the relief of having made the right choice.
Not to say that my next job will be any less demanding or stressful, it suddenly just fall on me that doing the job you like is really the most important thing ever.
It determines your responibility, your determination and commitment towards what you are doing. Otherwise, it is just a waste of time, at least this is what I feel.
And to all my friends out there who have shared with me your two cents, thank you very much.
For those who have scolded me, I thank you for I know you peeps are scolding me for my own good.
I am sorry that I have allowed you to discover the weaker side of me, the friend who only knows the solution of giving up and keeping herself safe by staying in her comfort zone. And I am sorry that I just couldn't force myself to be like you, to learn to like your job. I do not want to pretend to love my job when actually, I hate it so much. Of course, I apologise for all the disappointments in me.
And for those who have given me your support, I thank you for your faith, trust and understanding in me.
I have no clue to what I will become in years to come, for I feel as though I am still a stranger towards myself.
And till then, your encouragement is indeed precious to me, to keep me going.

现在的我真是一个头两个大，不对，是十个大。
没想到一个小时的车程，既然一点睡意也没有。
其实也没分别，闭上眼也睡不着
一闭上眼睛，满脑子浮现的都是数不清的大问号
真不知道自己是幸运还是什么，又是一个机会。
可这个机会太突如其来了，我一时还来不及反应，就已陷入困境了。
现在的我，必须做出一个决定，
一个非常重要的决定
一个做了就不能后悔的决定
现在已经不只是赚外快补贴家用那么简单干脆了
一个为了自己，为了家人，该做的决定，我实在一点头绪也没有
这就是我，一个从小到大都没有什么理想包袱的人
一个向来走一步看一步的我，现在根本还在迷宫里绕来绕去，走不出来。　
真希望有一颗水晶球，现在就能告诉我到底哪一条才是最适合自己该走的路

我开始不了解我自己了，已不清楚自己是不是个容易放弃的人
已不清楚到底要的是什么，担心的是什么
唯一清楚的是自己固执地要命，是一个没有主见的小妹妹。
为什么我就不能果断一点呢？

Started my first audit job today, and it was just sucky.
And it was after this job, just this alone, that I realised I really hate auditing.
Moving up n down asking clients for documents, "May I have this?", "May I have that?"
It really tests my patience.
For goodness sake, friends of Pei Zhen know that patience is the last thing she has and a challenge for her to change.

The only grateful thing for this job is that the staffs from the accounts departments are friendly and patient enough to guide me through.
Unlike the associated auditor-in charge (senior to put simply), who just assume that I know everything when I have only completed training last week. And the worst thing is that during the period of core training, the whole lesson seems to be a waste of time with that slacker trainer cum manager of mine.

I really can't imagine the amount of patience you must have when in the midst of closing your accounts for the month/year, the auditor keeps bugging you for this document, that document. Even the auditor myself feels so irritated, then how I am to expect people not to be annoyed by me. What to do, this is the nature of audit life.

It is always a symptom, that after you have completed all your working papers, you realised that there is no or even a small amount of satisfaction in you and this is when you started to ask yourself why and what exactly goes wrong. It is only then that you realised how much you love to be in that little comfort zone of yours, looking into the computer screen and working hard on the little area you are in charge of. And this is exactly how I feel now.

Begin to realise that whatever promises you made in the past, or even few days ago, they will all turn to bullshit and become invalid when you actually experience the so called "experience" yourself and it all turns out to be a big joke. And you know that for each day that you persist and hang on for that promise, you are still leading a non-meaningless life with lies. This explains why some people can work for their entire life without finding their ideal job.

Felt the urge to complain to Dad just now about how much auditing is so loathsome, I am defeated by his reply. Yea, this line is indeed what I have chosen for myself and could blame no one. And my Dad even told me encouragingly that this is just the starting, who knows what will happen later? I admitted silently in my heart.

Yes. I choose to leave my comfort zone and join the audit field to gain more experience and exposure for the better opportunities in years to come. But the question is, for the better opportunities, how much price am I willing to pay?
And will I really be more 'experienced' and 'exposed' after the many 365 passing years, or will I just be like what my accountant deemed us DT auditors to be- half water pail?

Given my personality and my stubbornness, the latter is a possibility.
And for now, I have no answer.

Happy 2010 to everyone!

Once again, continuing from 2008, 2009 has been a year full of memorable events!
But considering my low updates of entries in the year due to my laziness (sad to say) , I have made my first new year resolution for 2010 to blog more, and no more short forms!

2009 has been special since it marked the next stage of my life from a student to a working adult. And I believe all my fellow mates will agree with me that our convocation in July 2009 has been one of the most important ceremony for us. We have finally graduated, not after 3 years of Uni Studies but 15 years of schooling!

And not forgetting the two oversea trips that I have been to! Japan and UK! And to believe that I have actually flown (or flew?) to UK on my own, something that I thought I will never try in my entire life, its something remarkable! Ha, perhaps its not so proud to be mentioned here since I am just so not independent in the eyes of Tang balloon but then, at least I have made my virgin attempt! So should at least give me an encouraging applause yea, my dear friend? HAHA.
I am not sure since when has the travel bug started to hit me but I am sure that for every country I have marked my footprints on, the experience livens me up not only visually, but also spiritually. And for this, I make my second resolution to do more travelling in 2010!

One most important thing I could never miss, its the 6 months of working together with TTG's finance team. The love, care and concern they have showered in me are what that makes this half of my 2009 so fulfilling and unforgettable. And for my naive-ness and blunt-ness, I thank them for their extended tolerance towards them. From an intern to a temp and teaching me valuable lessons, what leaves behind is the friendship that we have forged after 10 months of being colleagues. And for my third new year resolution, I promise to work hard in my (new) career and to try my best in overcoming every odds that comes along the way.

Last but not least, we have all grown one year older!

To my dear Mum, Dad and JH, please stay healthy and safe. Nothing is more important than us being happy together as one.

To my friends, please continue to persevere in whatever things that you are doing. For those wishes that you are unable to fulfill or complete in 2009, let 2010 be a new start and fresh beginning. And specially for a specific group of people (I hope you peeps know who you are), I am thankful that our friendship has grown stronger with each passing year and for the many hanging outs and activities done together, we will continue to love one another, for every 365 days.

Though its a last min planning of this tour, but I can sae tat this was the most fruitful trip out of all. The feeling of spending the day throughout wif new frens made was heart warming n the fact tat they are our own people made me feel so much at home again.

And last but not least, Paris!

A place that I will visit the second time. Luv its language, luv its unique metro, luv its monuments! J'adore Paris =]

How can one ever afford to miss Tour Eiffel when visiting Paris! Though not the right time to take pic wif the sun razing so brightly n sumone kept blaming me for causing him not being able to take pic wif dis wonder of the world , able to c Tour Eiffel at close proximity certainly makes dis day trip worthwhile.

Well, an eye opener of England & Paris in 13 days. But still, I guess I prefer Asia afterall, perhaps up till now for the countries I hav visited so far. Although its true that both r different n comparing them is just like comparing apples n oranges, I guess its the feeling that matters most. The people around, the culture, the environment n even the accompanies along with you determine ur mood n ur evaluations. But no matter what, its juz what tat adds on to ur portfolio ultimately tat r important. N similarly for this time round, there are certainly new discoveries made, reflections n also the changes in perceptions towards certain things that u r oni able to get out of every trip. Sum goods n bads for which I shall not elaborate futher.

A lazy Sunday afternoon to pen down this entry. Tink it will take hours for me to complete.
Since I am weak at words, I do hope pictures will do most of the talking.

Well, back from my two weeks long trip to UK.
Tiring! But at the same time, it was a totally new experience for me,
taking into account tat this is the first non-Asia country tat I hav visited.

London, an adventurous city, but definitely not a place for long term stay, at least dis is wat I feel.
Fast paced (Even faster than in SG I supposed), busy n wif sum evidence of hostility fr the locals.
Although I dun wish to admit, but suffering fr culture shock for the first few daes was indeed true for me.

Putting aside the negative sides, here are sum of the positive memories tat I hav brought home wif me.

Today work is a little bit different!
All of us have been trying to solve this little problematic sum tat appears to be the killer qns for dis yr PSLE Maths.
n indeed it was tough!
I am sure I will have left it blank when I am sitting in the examination hall 10yrs ago.

Jim bought some chocolates and gave half of it to Ken. Ken bought some sweets and gave half of it to Jim. Jim ate 12 sweets and Ken ate 18 chocolates. The ratio of Jim’s sweets to chocolates became 1:7 and the ratio of Ken’s sweets to chocolates became 1:4. How many sweets did Ken buy?"

But still, we managed to come up with a solution, not sure after how long...

Let the number of chocolates be X and the number of sweets be Y.
X/2-18=4Y/2---------------(1)
X-36=4Y--------------------(1.1)

7(Y/2-12)=X/2-------------(2)
7Y-168=X---------------------(2.2)

Therefore, substituting 2.2 into 1.1
7Y-168-36=4Y
3Y=204
Y=68 ( Ans: Ken bought 68 sweets! )

Substituting Y=68 into 1.1
X-36=4 x 68 = 272

This is totally crazy, I remember I learnt simultaneous equation only when I am in Sec 2, maybe?
And when I am still a PSLE candidate 10 years ago, I believe i will have tried attempting dis qns using models!
Of crse to us, this qns seems chicken feet using algebras but den, how would we hav even tot of solving dis using algebras back den, unless we are born to be a Maths genius.

Poor students. Thank goodness I have overcome it.
But no matter wat, i somehow enjoy and miss solving problem sums.

Although I am always quite reluctant to be there,
it is always a place of motivation for me.
The opportunity of meeting different pple fr different regions,
there is always the pull for me to get close to them.
Though I cun reciprocate,
being able to listen to their conversations with one another
always interests me to find out what they are talking about.
And when you manage to understand pieces of it,
there is the sense of satisfaction revolving in you.
I am glad I manage to learn a third language like French in sch,
I smile when I remember the reason of me
being so hooked up with K-Pop now
n I am thankful tat we hav chosen Japan as our grad destination,
for now I am no longer confused
between the Korean and Japanese languages,
I will sae dis place has becum a learning platform for me,
has motivated me to master all their languages
after serving each of them,
n not forgetting the desire I have always had of wanting to visit them
at the other parts of Earth in time to come...

N for once, I feel ashamed of the so called service
we hav here in Singapore.
The fact tat we juz wanted to get everytink over n done wif,
the fact tat we juz wanted to close the sales
the fact tat we handle things clumsily and hastily
the fact tat we are in Singapore
n the fact tat I am one typical Singaporean as well.
Comparing the service I have had in Japan
n tinkin bk abt the service
tat we r providing to these foreign customers,
I couldnt help but to sigh.
A sigh tat proves acknowlegement
A sigh tat reflects the truth
A sigh tat portrays dis ugly picture

A sigh tat releases after seeing how customers can serve themselves

The patience , the courtesy, the initiative

I din go ice skating in the end! It was so chui!
The reason was not becoz we din hav time to go...

Guess my life has been kinda boring tat i totally hav no content and no idea wat to blog abt recently, leaving my blog to breed mosquites.

Well, dis few daes after leaving Berg...it's reallie a relief!
I no longer feel the burden of dragging my feet to the coy and facing those sucky colleagues.
I noe I am getting abit exaggerated..
but for once (at least for now),
I feel like I am seeing the rays fr the sun again.
Thank goodness!

Kinda enjoying the pace of life I am leading now...
Went shopping wif Mad and bought one cold wear, one pair of boots
and my 100bucks flew away juz like tat! OMG!
But guess dis is the result of having a stagnant wardrobe for too long...

And apart fr dis, went down to the office wif Gwen to demand for our pay!!!
Its reallie sucky when the coy u trusted n worked for so long has delayed ur pay for 2mths!
Its not like they r on the verge of liquidation or wat...
juz tat the management now kinda sucks.
dun even noe our name, not to sae to even process our wage payment!
First time in my entire working life..went down personally to demand for my pay!
N its a blessing in disguise tat the person in charge din deny them
calculated our pay on the spot (after we demanded him to pay us immediately!)
Haiz, got my pay for April n May in the end...
but still, I hav already lost faith in them. Its so disappointing!
My motivation to work for them no longer feels as strong like b4.
I hav a feeling I need to press them for my Jun's and July's salary in August again.

I got my bill todae! The amount was crazy! First time in my entire 5 yrs of ownership of a mobile phone, the bill is 3-digits figure! Not a surprise since I have received n made many calls during my Japan trip, juz din expect it will be tat ex.... $131.55....almost 4 times of wat my dad used to be paying for mi..Oh dear, I am so sry!

DAY 10- Tokyo Disneysea

It was an eye-opening experience for me! Delicated my first time to disneysea instead of disneysea, with most of the time chasing after Mickey n family! Challenged sum of the not very scary rides...haha, n they were kinda lame.

Although the wind was so strong that it was as though there was a tornado, we had enjoyed ourselves! N it was the dae that i had bought the most tinks!!!! Souvenirs from one n only Tokyo Disneysea! =] I am luving it =]

Our last dinner at Tokyo. It was great n had marked a great ending to our Japan Grad trip!

DAY 11-Home Sweet Home

Black pepper chicken! Heavenly! I juz luv SQ's meals...lol

Well, so much for the 11 days 10nights Japan Grad trip! Lotsa new discoveries, adding on to my portfolio of experience...Din regret choosing Japan as our destination afterall. N thks goodness, we r back before the H1N1 outbreak in Japan! Blessed! Ha, but still, if there is an opportunity for mi to act luxuriously, I will wish to visit Japan again! N the nxt time, Hokkaido will be my target!

DAY 9

Wanna catch the fish auction so we woke up earlie at 5am (Singapore time 4am) so as to catch the earliest train possible but we were too late still! The auction was over n to add on the misery, there was little rain droplets! We had no choice but to walk wif our umbrellas... Nevertheless, we had a sumptious salmon don breakfast at Tsukiji fish market! But it makes mi stomach pain later on. =[ Juz not use to eating stuffs raw....

Tokyo dome- Tokyo's indoor baseball statium! I will never ever challenge the

almost 180 degree steep roller coaster! Not even when u throw cash at mi....

Odaiba! Famous for its rainbow bridge! Too bad we cun wait for it to light up at night.....
Heard that SS501 held their handshake session here the next dae....well, we werent so lucky after all. =[ So near yet so far!

DAY 8
Its Mt Fuji dae! How could aniwan ever been to Japan without visiting the prominent Mt-Fuji! After having learnt my lesson from Hakone, I arrived at Mt Fuji wif my 3/4 pantalon! but it was still cold! Hate the cloud somehow. but thks goodness i managed to capture a pretty nice shot of Mt. Fuji when our coach bus passed by !

I bet all of u guys will luv the freaking cool weather here. 16.9 degree celcius! My jacket cun even protect mi well from the cold. =[

DAY 6
Finallie we have arrived at Tokyo! First on our itinerary list, Ginza! The super high end street which the salesperson will srutinize u fr top to bottom whenever u enter a boutique. Next on our list was Akihabara, famous for being an electric town. Well, while there are lotsa electronic shops and MANGAs, there are also lotsa porn n sex stuff here. >_<

At Shibuya! I luv this place as much as i have luved ShiLin n FengJia Night Market at TaiWan!
Its a seriously cool place to hang out wif ur frens at nite!

Sad to sae, dun reallie like their Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Kinda cheated by their looks. Still prefer our donut factory in Singapore though.

Happened to pop by a Panda restaurant! Haha, though we were all full wif our doughnuts, we cun resist the temptation to enter into the restaurant to find how panda-ry the restaurant was. Ha, no fat pandas here like in the zoo, but we simply luved their fried rice =]

The dae which I have taken the most pics! Thanks to Hakone awesome scenery! Though I was suffering fr ultimate coldness, but den its kinda the first experience i have had. I wanna go Hakone the second time, but dis time, wif my winter jacket n no more shorts but pants. LOL.

DAY 3- Continued

After the Nashiji Food Market, we set our way to Arashiyama, a place where u can seek calm n peace =] Another one of my fav place.

I juz love the way Japanese package their stuffs, food and everytink else. They make them look all so good and attractive tat makes you wan to attack them all. Pasta with tobasco, a perfect mixture. Loves them all.

DAY 4- Kobe Oji Zoo

The two lazy n fat pandas were eating non stop! i took 10 pictures of them eating!

At Mosaic where we had our lunch, after walking so long to find the visitors' infomation centre which we end up couldnt find ani, landed up at Kobe Harbourland instead. But nevertheless, a nice place to be at =]

The fantastic ramen dinner at Nagoya station which i will never forget.

DAY 5
Nagoya castle, Imperial Palace, Kinkaguji temple and Ryoan-Ji temple.

I want to pluck out a piece of gold fr the Golden Pavillion!

A very modern temple and its famous rock garden. U r supposed to find some inspirations by staring at their rocks. I couldnt find ani till now.

Our last dinner at Gion, Kyoto before we set off to Tokyo the next dae. Omurice with shrimp and mayo. Juz wan to lick the cheese wif my fingers!

Lol, as much as i wanted to be detailed as i can, well, I have no time to do so!

DAY 1
Haha, actuallie i m not sure if 7th May was considered day1 coz we took the flight SQ638 on 11.40pm. My first time taking night flight! n i enjoy doing so! coz there r extra snack! The mango shrimp and herbs panini tastes good! N most imptly, its a pretty good time to slp!

My choice for breakfast ( actuallie it wasn't my choice, juz tat they din have enuf of the other set so i had to take dis ): Grilled salted mackeral served with selected vegetables and steamed rice
When we were on our way from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station to Kyoto station

Our ryoken room at Minami-ku, Kyoto. Tatami n the futon beds! Very japanese style.

At Kiyomizu temple, one of my fav place =]

Along Gion Street, I oni managed to spot 2 Geishas! First when we reached n the second when we were abt to leave. Too bad i din spot ani pretty ones. but better than nuthin, lol.

I simply love our first dinner at Sazanka-tei at Gion. I muz sae the pizza rice cake was heavenly. i kinda miss their taste!

Seriously, I hate train stations. Summore they r complicated n make pple lost. I got lost in Singapore's MRT stations, not to sae Japan. But their exterior r nice, i muz sae. Love the wae everytink lights up in the night.

3 cheers to the 3 of us for rising up earlie. Tats a plus point for travelling in small grp! We set our first rising up to the Osaka castle! Pi n Des said it was not as nice as compared to wat they have seen on the web, well i seriously have no comment on dis coz i hvn seen it on the web yet.

We juz love jumping up shots. Lol.

Well, i muz sae lunch on the second dae at Tsuruhashi Fugetsu, Hankyu Grand Building was the best i have ever had out of the 10daes. So much better than the okomomi at Takashimaya. I dun remember i love the one there. Oh ya, n the lunch tasted exceptionallie gd after we hav walked dunno how many of kilometres fr the so called nearest train station to find one supposedly famous Shitennoji temple as recommended by the person at the Visitor Infomation Centre. Indeed, it was so famous tat we oni spotted one nice spot to take a grp pic b4 we headed back to Umeda to sit down n hav such a heavenly lunch. zzz

I juz luv dis full stretch of streets- Shinsaibashi and Dotonburi, Osaka.

We had our tea break at Mom's cafe. Their cake looks all so tempting!

Sushi set for dinner. HA, because of dis, i have finallie started to like a little bit of sashimi when i used to hate salmon so raw. So much for the virgin tries =]

DAY 3
Lol, Our second rising up to the Ramen museum. First time making our own ramen, following the kids. I dun remember my childhood making ramen n designing own ramen packaging. haha.

Nishiki food market, dun reallie like the food there. I am a fan of cheese but not a fan of octopus balls so as much as it makes quite a good combi, i dun tink i will try them a second time. N not forgetting the scam curry rice tat we had along the street, it made mi hate Japanese curry for the first time.

Well, so much for the first 3 daes. Will continue to post the rest of the daes as soon as i can. Meanwhile, hope u peeps have enjoyed the pics. At least i have tried my best to post most of them. Keep posted....gdnitez =]

因为，我依然相信

没想到podcast竟然是佩真的死穴，不幸的我在这关被淘汰了。哎！

少了阿呆呆的可爱，

和tingzi的坦然冷静

没有doubleimage的创意十足

声音也不比Boon来得洪亮与充满自信心

所以即使落选了，也没什么好可惜的

因为虽败犹容！

但这次的wildcard, 给了我多一次机会

拿出我的诚意来。

诚意- 唯一能使我从容不迫地表现出真正的自己。

其实对朋友门来说，能进入六强已算非常了不起了

更何况还要挑战我没尝试过的事。

先是充当美食评审，再来是用 Creative Vado捕捉影像完成的 Photo Review

....(只差不是很真实的声色而已）

这些统统都是我的处女作，真是不容易啊！

很少参加比赛，所以在我的纪录里很少有所谓的“成就”

这次也是纯粹因为兴趣所以才参加《部落Y格斗》的

这次的wildcard, 我却不想靠运气

只想凭实力，再一次获得认同已肯定

家人和朋友们的支持，我都收到了

Today is a aweful day.
Just had a horrible oral session for French.
Tongue tied. N i am traumatised.
I was confused. The tutor was confused.
The whole introductory conversation was confused.
What u hav prepared might not be in use afterall.
Coz the tutor will ask all sorts of questions
Frankly speaking, perhaps the questions were pretty much easy.
Just tat i cun catch ani ball out of it.
The tutor gave up on his qns after few attempts
of hoping i would be able to understand
n there goes...shit.
I can oni speak well when i have my script with me.
Other than tat, its hell for mi.

I feel so disgraceful, i will neber tell people animore
tat i have ever learnt French,
not NTU, not Level 3.
Pi masters good jap n put it into gd use for Japan trip.
Mi, well, maybe another 10 yrs.

色彩缤纷，我们已离不开。

红色- 美丽耀眼，让你无法转移目光

pZhen has reasons for not blogging recently.

despite the end of exams of her entire Uni life and enjoying freedom as much as she wanted, she still has plently of tinks to do.

Ha, first of all, thks to her dearest Pi, she is obsessed ( and she is reallie obsessed, not exaggerating ) wif Kim Hyun Joong(KHJ) after having watching the Korean Version of Meteor Garden, or Boys over flowers to be more precise. haha, n since den, her life starts to be filled wif KHJ. She watches utube clips on him before goin to slp, n she wakes up, she switches on the pc and start mesmerizing on him again. haha, couldn't help it but she is totallie enjoying it. Looks like she is back to the F4 times during her secondary days. OMG. She noes she must be crazy, but well, she has since found a new goal in life. She wans a Korean man!! HAHA. pZhen wans to go Korea to find KHJ! Pi has told pZhen tat the foursome from Boys over flowers will be arriving in Japan to promote the show n we will be in Japan den. Omg, pZhen juz hope to catch KHJ over there! N though she cun speak ani Korean, she still wanted to sae Saranghaeyo to KHJ!!!

Cun help falling in love...

haha, dis shd be a ridiculous post to all pZhen's blog readers. pZhen feels sorry but pls pardon her. She noes she is alr 21, but still, she hopes to stay at 16 forever!

ha, n the nxt tink tat has kept pZhen busy over these few daes - her graduation trip to Japan! n now becoz of the H1NI virus, pZhen needs to take extra precaution. She wanted to purchase hand sanitizers, masks, n she wanted to take vaccination too, but it seems like everytink is too late. All out of stock! n the vaccine would not take effect oni after 2weeks later ( by den, she will alr be back in Singapore). How sad.... but still, pZhen hopes everytink will turn out fine so tat she can hav no worries in Japan, n hopefullie, she is able to catch even a glimpse of KHJ! HAHA.

佩真觉得很无聊

一时之间不知道要做什么好

在电脑前发呆了好一会儿

顿时间发现除了facebook和omy. sg 可以游览以外

就没有其它可以打发时间的了

难道这就是考完试的宿命吗？

我想应该不是，

我这样子说应该会给很多还在啃书的朋友讨厌

也许自己本来就没有什么嗜好

除了打部落格和阅读以外

而我，阅读的时候是最专注的

哈哈，是在夸奖自己吗？

一个月过得好快哦

好朋友刚回来不久又飞回去了

弟也去了北京大概有三个星期的时间

我和朋友的日本之旅也渐渐逼近

人还真是矛盾，

期待或讨厌一件事情的时候，

就老是埋怨时间怎么过得如此的缓慢

考试就是最佳例子，哈哈

只可惜，天底下没有不散的宴席

所以当你已沉醉在某一件事时

只希望时间能停止在这一刻

但是时间却依旧潇洒的一分一秒流逝

一点面子也不给

我们又有什么办法呢

所以只好把体验的，拥有的并且感受的牢记在心

就这样，我们总是在和时间赛跑

要解脱，我想到目前为止，应该很难吧。

吃遍-Shokudo

我喜欢吃，但我却不是个美食专家。

我几乎什么都吃，除了牛肉以外。

而且我是无辣不欢喔！

人生第一大享受就是吃，

只可惜我偏偏又是个路痴

所以错过了很多值得大快朵颐的好去处

幸好还算不上是个山龟

我自认我不是个很懂得欣赏日本料理的人

所以就让我借这机会好好的品尝一番吧

不禁让我突发奇想，想搞个“真生活”

这个Japanese Style Sakura Ebi Omelette，

相似于豆腐般的“日式煎蛋”，

里头隐藏着樱花小虾，再配上蛋黄酱，

味道简直是恰到好处，是个好的开始喔。

原来这枚好手艺，竟出至于这位老太太？

所谓的姜是老的辣，也太不可思议了吧。

接下来的 Prawn Bamboo Rice 一来到就让我眉开眼笑

因为我最爱吃虾了，恨不得把它们全都吞进肚子里

哈哈，贪吃的坏习惯被发现了！

喜欢那简单却又不失香味的蒸竹饭

这让我顿时间想起家的味道

能和我妈煮的不分上下

让我有着吃在嘴里，暖在心里的感觉，

也太神奇了吧。

太好了，第三道美食快来

我才刚进行暖身呢，

任何一个下马威我都能招架得住，

所以尽管放马过来

然后是这个 Rosti with Chicken Sausages

每次常听朋友夸张地说

Rosti 有多好吃，我都半信半疑

都会用那 "Singlish" 到不行的 Singlish 对他们说：

“是meh, 应该还好而已la”

本人果然比别人慢三拍

现在才了解背后的原因

因为这里的 Rosti 果真是魅力无法挡

我投降了

原来马铃薯也可以这样子弄

我以前也太低估日本料理了吧

幸好我及时领悟，否则我为免也太暴殄天物了吧

最后一道了，就是这个 Tsukune Roasted Rice Balls

单靠外相就足于让你忍不住想尝一尝

金黄色的脆皮，甜甜的酱汁

日本料理我是少吃没错，

但Teriyaki我是绝对晓得

而这让人看了都垂涎三尺的鸡肉串，正合我喂口

让我在视觉和味觉上有着双重的享受。

实在受不了了，真想大声说声：“おいしい ” (Oishi!)

本还以为在这里就到此为止，没想到惊喜一连串

不是我胡扯乱制造气氛，的确是真的！

甜点是我最爱吃的 Cheese蛋糕！

我对Cheese蛋糕是异常的挑剔

不是你随随便便递给我我就会喜欢的喔

我不想加草莓酱

只想好好品尝着Cheese蛋糕的原汁原味

一句话：合格！=]

果然称得上 Shokudo 的招牌 Tofu Cheesecake!

也成为了来Shokudo 的必吃甜点！

已经顺理成章地进入我“最爱Cheese蛋糕”前五名的名单中

so much for the contest so far.
haha, todae's juz the fourth dae of April n I have already celebrated two of my fren's b'dae!

Dis week was kinda a hectic yet a happie week.
Had two tests on Mon. 306 was super easy yet so many careless mistakes made. >_<
n 304, i oni got 5 marks out of 10! borderline pass. wahaha.
n not to forget tat our beloved Aaron has come back fr the faraway London since last Fri n has made his wae to NTU juz to have lunch wif us.
Haha, although he was damn noisy n full of nonsense, but well, tats the wae he is n tats wat we have all love him for. Lol.

N well, Wed, met up wif everlasting teens at PS n dis time, Aaron has joined us for the first time after sixth month of getting used of not having him ard wif us. HAHAHAHA. he's gonna hate me for dis. =p

N ytd, celebrated HTM's 22nd b'dae at Turf City, after two years of playing hide n seek. zzz. Haha the fish was super heavenly tat i have to stop ZhiWei from giving the final little portion of the meat to Jas. Haha, i m so sorry, my dear sis. LOL. Seafood rawkz!

(ps: But well, i reallie m not v appreciative of those tat are not being apologetic for arriving so late.... hmm, maybe i shd emphasize. Not those but particularly juz u. ha, u appear like nobody business, telling me to settle everytink n when i did, u din reallie care much. N excuse me, not because u have told me to plan tat i actuallie plan, is becoz the planning is for a fren so much better than u. I doubt u have informed the rest the timing n make us 3 look like fools waiting for u prince to arrive. Ha, i noe, there r many times tat i have been late too. but i dare to admit tat i actuallie make it a point to inform those tat who r waiting for me. But u r not even guity. omg. super pissed off. Pls tell mi in future (or shd i beg u?) if u hav prob wif the timing n seriously i dun mind changing it. But sad to sae, u din't even sae a single shit n dis shows how irresponsible u r. U juz spoil half of our mood for the celeb but well, guess i shdn't even waste my fucking anger on u coz its juz a waste of my energy. Ha, but looks like u have got lotsa buddies for support, ha, so wats the point of me rawling here! )

Ha, n 2dae, its the celebration of buta's 24th! Omg. they have picked a ulu restaurant at sum uluhotel at sum ulu place. N i m so stupid. could have taken a bus, shdn't have taken train. I've alwaes had bad experiences wif train! i cun tell which line goes to which direction. haha or maybe i m juz a mountain tortoise. lol. no la. i believe i m not so chui, i m juz careless. haha. aniwae, the baking set is great! Thks goodness we din't giv him cash, i would definitely be unwilling to see my hard earned money goes to the transformer's collection. >_<

N well, so much for dis week! Sad to sae, JH will be leaving for BeiJing soon on Mon! OMG. Even though i have quarrelled wif him almost everytime, sumhow it feels wierd not to have him ard for 6 weeks. ha, i guess i will probably miss the time bickering wif him? Haha, but i m reallie v glad for him to have had dis great opportunity! Its time for him to learn how to be independent, how to wash his clothes, how to wake up earlie everytime without our yelling on him to get up fr bed, how to settle his 3 meals blax3. N perhaps i can study in peace for my exams? ha, but well, takkaire my dear bro!!! Remember to call us back home! N...last but not least, have fun n most importantly, take lotsa picsss!!! Woohoo!

我年轻，所以我习惯哭泣

我已不晓得我到底流过多少眼泪

小时候顽皮不懂事，常被爸妈追着藤条跑，我哭了

小学时期和朋友闯了祸，被老师惩罚，我哭了

可当我已渐渐地在成长时，

我发现自己越来越多愁善感了

发现自己会为了更多的人事物而哭泣

已不纯粹是因为跌倒受伤这么单纯了

会考成绩不理想，我难过地哭了

被冤枉了，心里很不是滋味，我痛哭了一场

看电视剧，情节哀艳，我默默地哭了

看爱情小说，故事陶醉动人，我忍不住哭了

生日当天，收到许多亲朋好友的祝福，我感动得哭了

好朋友要出国念书，因为舍不得所以哭了

如果有一天好朋友突然回来了，

我想我大概也会因为兴奋而喜极而泣

有时候，也许是心理作祟，莫名奇妙地哭了

伤心，失望，感动，开心

我都曾因为它们而哭泣

不喜欢压制即将流出来的泪，

这对我来说也许是个极大的考验

哭过后，心里不知不觉地舒服许多

想哭就尽情地哭吧，哭泣不等于脆弱

因为你会逐渐发现，

你已因曾掉过的眼泪变得坚强许多

在我们的人生中，到底会错过多少机会呢

没有人有个确定的答案

有时候，不是不要抓紧机会

而是因为，天时地利人和的不允许

面对着现有的责任和该做的事

兴趣，爱好往往都成了其次

因为你知道自己必须完成使命

然而，当你已放下沉重的包袱

决定把握机会

它已在你不知不觉中悄悄溜失

那时候的你，因此感到纳闷沮丧

责怪自己如果当初要是早知道。。。

千金难买早知道

因为年轻，所以常常告诉自己

一定要趁年轻踏出许多的第一步

可是,为何有这么多的年轻朋友们

常常和我一样

会把自己陷入矛盾状态

踌躇了半天也无法作出个决定来

只因自己被害怕与不确定所困扰

想太多，也是因为紧张，因为关心

有些人，从一开始就很清楚自己的未来会是如何

有些人，对于他们的人生就像个迷宫

往往不知道接下来的路该这么走

会犹豫，也是因为担心走错方向而迷失了。

害怕面对永远存在的未知数

但是和那些连一个机会都没有的人相比

我是否应该感到庆幸?

我年轻，所以我想挑战。

斟酌了很久，

面对课业上的压力，考试的逼近

一直在想着自己是否有时间好好的打出一篇写文

却无法消除心中的那股冲动与积极

而突然间，灵感似乎涌上心头

所以下定决心，参加比赛。

我年轻，因此我想尝试。

我年轻，所以我习惯幻想。

看多了偶像剧，常常入戏太深

其实也不能怪自己，

如果一部偶像剧剧情差

也无法让观众有着幻想空间。

幻想自己是剧里的女主角，

幻想如果剧里的情节发生在自己身上有该多好

幻想着那位英勇的骑士

竟是自己喜爱的男主角，

心跳因此加速，笑容也比以往灿烂

在自己的幻想里，

结局永远是两人从此过着幸福快乐的日子

然后从童话故事回到现实生活中，

决定耐心等待自己的白马王子出现。

即使知道童话与现实的差距

但还是忍不住想象，尽管是多么的夸张

这就是我年轻的资格。

因为年轻，所以有权利

继续在天真与成熟间找寻平衡点。

pZhen is back, after so long...ha, i tink its quite long since i last blogged! 心痒痒！
perhaps its becoz i hav been away from the computer for at least a week.
thks to the lightning. >_<
After two weeks of mugging n dozing off for AA306, finally a sigh of relief!
Perhaps i shd develop a habit of stayin away from the computer for at least a month,
den i can discipline myself all the way till end of exam. Ha, can i survive?
so well, let mi relax for once, at least for tonite b4 i start the mundane preparation of seminars n reading ups again...

So many news n updates recently. Sum very shocking, sum disappointments n sum r good news that i m v looking forward to!! =] =] =]
